Revoke Solana Token Authority
Revoke mint, freeze, and update authorities from your Solana token.
Why You Need to Revoke Solana Token Authorities
Token creators hold mint authority, freeze authority, and update authority by default. While these authorities remain active, the creator can increase token supply or freeze specific accounts at any time, which investors and the community perceive as a rug pull risk. Chart platforms like DEXScreener, Birdeye, and GMGN display whether authorities have been revoked, and tokens with revoked authorities earn higher trust scores. To ensure transparency and community trust for your token project, permanently revoking unnecessary authorities is essential. For a detailed explanation on revoking authorities, check out our blog post about Solana Revoke Authority guide.
Check Authority Status from Your Token List
Once you connect your wallet, tokens where you are the creator are automatically displayed. Select any token to instantly see whether Mint Authority, Freeze Authority, and Update Authority are currently active or already revoked. If you still need to mint additional tokens, freeze or unfreeze accounts, or update your token's metadata, make sure to finalize those changes before revoking. Check the authorities you want to revoke and click execute to generate a transaction — approve it in your wallet and the selected authorities are permanently revoked. Once revoked, authorities cannot be restored, so decide carefully.
