What is Mint Token?
Mint Token is a function that increases the total supply of an existing token. You can mint the desired amount of new tokens for tokens you have mint authority for.
What if I don't have mint authority?
To mint tokens, you must have mint authority for that token. Only the token issuer has mint authority, and tokens without authority cannot be minted.
What happens if I revoke mint authority?
If you revoke mint authority, you can no longer mint additional tokens. This means the token's total supply is fixed and serves as a trust signal to investors that there is no inflation risk.
Where do minted tokens go?
Minted tokens are deposited to the connected wallet's token account.
