Add Liquidity
You can add additional liquidity to an existing liquidity pool. With Alphecca Add Liquidity, you can add tokens and SOL to a Raydium CPMM pool to increase trading depth and reduce slippage.
How to Use Add Liquidity
Step 1: Connect Wallet
Click the Connect Wallet button in the top-right corner to connect your wallet.
Step 2: Select Token Mint Address
Select the mint address of the token you want to add liquidity to from your wallet's token list.
If a Raydium CPMM pool paired with SOL does not exist for this token, a red X will appear on the right and adding liquidity is not possible. In this case, please use the Create Liquidity Pool page.
Step 3: Confirm Token Pair
| Item | Description |
|---|---|
| Token | The token to add liquidity to |
| Value Token | SOL |
Step 4: Enter Liquidity Amount
Enter the amount of tokens and SOL to add to the existing liquidity pool. The pool will automatically calculate the required ratio based on the current pool ratio.
Your SOL balance must be greater than the SOL amount to add + service fee.
Step 5: Add Liquidity
Click the Add Liquidity button and approve the transaction in your wallet app.
Step 6: Confirm Completion
Once the transaction is complete, you can check the transaction signature in the Transactions Log tab and verify directly via the explorer link.
Add Liquidity FAQ
Why is the SOL amount calculated automatically?
When adding liquidity to an existing pool, the current pool ratio must be maintained to avoid price impact. The system automatically calculates the required amount based on current pool reserves, adding liquidity without affecting the token price.
What happens to LP tokens after adding liquidity?
After adding liquidity, you will receive LP tokens proportional to your contribution. These tokens represent your share of the pool and entitle you to receive a portion of trading fees.
What is the difference between creating a pool and adding liquidity?
Creating a liquidity pool creates a new trading pool for the token, where you set the initial price yourself. Adding liquidity supplies additional liquidity to an already existing pool, with amounts automatically calculated according to the current pool ratio.
Can I withdraw the added liquidity at any time?
Yes. As long as you hold LP tokens, you can withdraw your liquidity at any time on the Remove Liquidity page. Upon withdrawal, you will receive tokens and SOL back according to the current pool ratio.
