Revoke Ownership

You can renounce ownership of your token on EVM chains. With Alphecca Revoke Ownership, you can permanently renounce ownership of the token contract so that token settings can no longer be changed, increasing your project's credibility.

How to Renounce Ownership

Step 1: Connect Wallet

Click the Connect Wallet button in the top-right corner.

Step 2: Select Token Address

Select the token contract address you want to renounce ownership for.

⚠️ Warning

This feature is only available for tokens created through Alphecca. Only the token owner can renounce ownership.

Step 3: Confirm Renounce

Review the warning message and confirm that you understand the consequences.

🚨 Important

This action is irreversible. Once ownership is renounced, you will permanently lose the ability to modify token settings including Tax, Anti-Bot, Anti-Whale, Blacklist/Whitelist, Mint, and Pause functions.

Step 4: Renounce Ownership

Click the 'Renounce Ownership' button and approve the transaction in your wallet.

Who can renounce ownership?

Only the current owner of the token can renounce ownership. Also, this function is only available for tokens created through Alphecca.

  • Confirm that Tax, Anti-Bot, and Anti-Whale settings are configured as desired
